Our Story

1999

Founded in Maui

Aloha Medicinals began on the Island of Maui, where a team of scientists and health agents set out to culture the highest quality medicinal mushrooms, including Reishi and Cordyceps, to support holistic health.

2002

Expanding Scientific Foundations

We moved to Santa Cruz, California, acquiring the historic Sunrise Spawn Company-originally founded in 1955 by Ox. Benjamin “Doc” Stoller, a pioneer in mushroom cultivation. This gave us access to decades of research and invaluable knowledge.

2007

Scaling in Nevada

To meet growing demand, we established our state-of-the-ant production facility in Carson City, Nevada. Located at 5,000 feet near the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this facility provides optimal conditions for controlled, sustainable cultivation.
